Tata Motors Strengthens Green Logistics with Delivery of LNG Trucks to Clean Green Fuel and Logistics Pvt. Ltd., Signs MoU for 350 More
Tata Motors, India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, has commenced deliveries of its advanced Tata Prima 5530.S LNG trucks to Clean Green Fuel and Logistics Pvt. Ltd., a prominent green fuel logistics provider. The initial order, consisting of 150 LNG-powered trucks, saw its first units delivered at a special event. The remaining trucks will be delivered in phases. Alongside, Tata Motors signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to supply an additional 350 Prima 5530.S LNG trucks to Clean Green Fuel and Logistics Pvt. Ltd.
Mr. Milan Donga, Director of Clean Green Fuel and Logistics, highlighted the partnership’s significance, expressing that the addition of Tata’s LNG tractors enhances their commitment to sustainable logistics. Equipped with Tata Motors’ Fleet Edge, a connected vehicle platform, the trucks provide real-time data, smart analytics, and optimal decision-making support.

The Tata Prima 5530.S LNG truck is equipped with a Cummins 6.7L Gas engine, offering 280hp and 1100Nm of torque, and is available with single or dual fuel cryogenic tank options. With a range of over 1000km, the dual-tank model is optimized for extended hauls, featuring a premium cabin, Gear Shift Advisor, and efficient fuel management for cost-effective operations. Tata Motors continues to lead in alternative fuel innovations across its portfolio, including electric, CNG, LNG, hydrogen internal combustion, and hydrogen fuel cell-powered vehicles for diverse commercial needs.
