Redefining Productivity Through Smart Engineering and Intelligent Operations
HD Hyundai CE is elevating productivity by maximising output through optimised powertrains, calibrated hydraulics, and terrain-tested machine performance. With Hi Mate telematics ensuring improved utilisation, preventive maintenance, and reduced downtime, the company enables customers to achieve higher operational efficiency across diverse job-site conditions.
What new technologies or machines are you showcasing at EXCON this year?
At EXCON 2025, we are showcasing our next-generation X Plus Series excavators, BS-V wheel loaders, and an expanded range under our Material Handling Business (MHB), including forklifts and warehousing equipment. Our focus this year is on advanced engineering, dependable performance, and smart, digitally enabled features that support real-world job-site needs.
The machines come with:
New engine platforms designed for steady torque delivery and improved load handling across applications.
Refined hydraulic circuits that deliver quicker cycle times, stable operation, and precise control.
Cabins designed around operator comfort, with upgraded seats, improved switch layouts, and better visibility to reduce fatigue during long working hours.
Hi Mate digital monitoring, which provides real-time insights on utilization, fuel use, machine status, and maintenance needs.
These upgrades are aimed at helping customers achieve steady performance, reduced operator fatigue, and more efficient planning at their work sites.
How is HD Hyundai CE redefining productivity and efficiency in the construction sector?
We are improving productivity by focusing on real output—how much material a machine can move for every litre of fuel. Our powertrains and hydraulics are calibrated for higher work rates, and the operating modes automatically optimise power to reduce wastage. Each model is tested across India’s varied terrains to ensure steady performance in demanding conditions.
Hi Mate strengthens this further by giving customers clear visibility into utilisation, service schedules, and machine health. This helps them avoid unplanned stoppages and improve overall working hours at the job site.

Can you tell us about the innovations behind your latest excavator range?
This year, we have introduced the 20-ton Upgraded Facelift SMART X Plus Series, which includes the R210, R215, R215L, R230LM, and R245LR excavators. Along with this, we are also showcasing our BS-V wheel loader range, featuring the upgraded 3–5 ton models: HL630I and HL650I.
These machines are engineered to deliver quicker operating response, steady performance during demanding cycles, and more comfort during long working hours.
Key advancements include:
Re-tuned engines and hydraulic pumps that respond quickly during digging, loading, and travel, helping operator complete cycles faster.
Hydraulic balancing systems that maintain stability during high-speed movement and heavier load handling.
Control levers with precise modulation, supporting accurate bucket and boom movements during finish work and operations in tighter spaces.
Cabins designed for extended shifts, equipped with low-vibration mounts, stronger seat suspension, and simplified switch layouts for smoother operation.
Built-in diagnostics and telematics, which send alerts when components need attention, helping owners plan maintenance before any dip in performance.
These updates strengthen both the SMART X Plus Series and the BS-V wheel loaders for applications across construction, quarrying, earthwork, agriculture, and waste handling.

What makes your products stand out in a highly competitive market like India?
Customers choose Hyundai because the machines deliver strong output per litre of fuel, stay stable under heavy loads, and are engineered for long operating cycles in rough terrains, high-temperature regions, and extended working hours. The components are designed for longer life, which reduces the need for frequent part replacements and helps customers manage operating costs.
Our strength also comes from the scale of our support network. With more than 45,000 Hyundai machines working across India, we operate through 225+ sales and service touchpoints, supported by six regional offices and dedicated parts warehouses. This structure enables quick service response, faster parts delivery, and consistent technical support throughout a machine’s life cycle. We have further enhanced our capability with the XL Rebuild Center in Pune, which restores used machines to near-original condition. This program helps customers extend the life of their existing equipment, reduce maintenance costs, and maintain performance without the need for immediate replacement.
