Can you elaborate on the unique features and capabilities of your Drum Mix Plant compared to others available in the market?
In reference to Drum Mix Plants and Quality compare to other manufacturer is not Professional attitude. We are manufacturing Drum Mix Plant of Unique quality. We have supplied Drum Mix Plants to Border Road Oreganisation in 2005 and due to good quality still it is in operation with minimum maintenance. Means after 19 years Drum Mix Plants are performing well due to quality material used by us.
Talk about certifications of company ensuring the quality and reliability of its products?
Regarding quality Certifiaction all company should go for CE certification and Patent Registration. We have implementated quality of Raw Material as well as finished goods by third party inspection for quality approval.
What led Himakshi Road-Cons Equipments to focus on manufacturing import substitute road construction equipment?
We have started manufacturing of Equipments of FDR Roads which is presently importing. We have manufactured Tractor attachment (Rear) Cement Spreader / Additive Spreader. Chip Spreader and crack sealing machines. We have supplied to reputed contractors/companies of India and abroad.
Can you share technological advancements or innovations your company has introduced in road construction equipment?
We have manufactured Cemnet Spreader (Tractor Attachment-Rear 6 Cu Mtr). Chip Spreader – Engine Driven and Electric Drven (Battery Operated) ,Crack Sealing Machine, Duples Sprayer for Emulsion & Bitumen. Mastic Cooker with Temp Controller. Mastic Cooker, Mastic Transporter 2 Ton Capacity and Glass Grid Laying Machine for Runways and Roads.
How do you see the future of road construction technology evolving?
Now there will be no future for Drum Mix Plant It is replaced by Asphalt Batching Plant. There is briht future for Road Construction Machineries for Biitumen as per my experience.
What are some of the challenges you face in the development and expansion of global reach of distribution of your construction equipment?
Equipments manufactured which replacing imported one are not easily accepted our Indian Contarctors and Companies. If accept then with very thin margin of Profit which waves in Service after sales and service.
Could you detail us about civil construction projects that have utilized your equipment?
Our equipments are being used by Nagarjuna Construction Co Ltd, Hyderabad, Vishwa Samudra Engg Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad, Dinsesh Chandra Infracon Projects Pvt Ltd Ahmedabad TREMCO,USA Group under L&T Mumbai, Tata Projects Ltd, Mumbai.
How does your company balance maintaining traditional quality while integrating new technologies into your equipment?
We have introduced quality product in our regular manufacturing as well in new Imported substitute by our experience only. We are maintain quality and keep reserve spares to meet emergency requirements.
What are your company’s future plans and goals?
We have goal to manufacture equipments in substitute of imported one with quality with economical in price so that we can keep Make in India in mind and save foreign exchange also.
