EXCON 2025 Reflects Growing Demand for Job-Site Solutions and Material Reuse

EXCON 2025 highlighted a clear change in contractor priorities, with growing emphasis on productivity, cost control, and smarter on-site material processing. Discussions increasingly focused on practical solutions that reduce logistics, manpower, and waste, reflecting a maturing market driven by efficiency, sustainability, and real project economics.

What innovative trends or client requirements did you observe at EXCON 2025?

Two trends stood out very clearly.First, customers are no longer looking at equipment in isolation. They’re looking at systems that solve multiple problems on site. The conversations were less about “what does this machine cost” and more about “how does this reduce logistics, manpower, and downtime.” Productivity per machine hour has become a serious metric.Second, there is a strong and growing focus on on-site material reuse and waste reduction. Contractors, especially those working in urban redevelopment and public infrastructure, are under pressure to manage demolition waste responsibly. At EXCON, recycling was no longer treated as a future idea — it was discussed as a practical requirement that needs workable solutions today.

Please evaluate your post-EXCON experience in terms of business relevance.

From a business standpoint, EXCON 2025 was extremely relevant for us.The quality of conversations was higher than in previous editions. We met decision-makers who were already familiar with attachments and were evaluating them seriously for ongoing and upcoming projects. Many discussions moved quickly from demonstration to application specifics, which tells us the market is ready.Post-EXCON, we’ve seen strong follow-up on demos, rental enquiries, and multi-attachment discussions. That confirms that the show wasn’t just about visibility — it translated directly into tangible business opportunities.

Which of your products, technologies, or solutions introduced at the event commanded the strongest value proposition, and why?

The BF90.3 crusher bucket clearly commanded the strongest attention, because it addresses a very real and immediate problem: how to process material on site without adding complexity or cost. What resonated with customers was not just the crushing capability, but the simplicity of the concept — using an existing excavator to produce usable aggregate, reduce transport, and control material quality directly at the job site.Alongside this, our screening buckets and compact crusher buckets generated strong interest from contractors working in confined or urban environments. The value proposition was clear: flexibility, faster execution, and better use of existing machines.

How do you assess the current market demand for construction and heavy equipment with respect to developments in your segment?

Demand in our segment is closely linked to how contractors are adapting to cost pressure and project timelines. While new machine purchases remain important, we see increasing emphasis on getting more output from machines already in the fleet. That’s where attachments are gaining relevance. Contractors want solutions that are easy to deploy, don’t require specialised operators, and can be moved from project to project.Overall, demand is shifting from volume-driven to value-driven, especially in attachments and job-site solutions.

How do you see the Indian construction equipment market shaping up in 2026–27?

The outlook for 2026–27 is positive, but more structured than before.Infrastructure spending, urban redevelopment, and transport projects will continue to drive demand. At the same time, margins will remain under pressure, which means contractors will prioritise efficiency, versatility, and sustainability. For the equipment market, this means stronger growth in attachments, compact equipment, and solutions that reduce operating costs, rather than only growth in large standalone machines. We also expect on-site recycling and material processing to move closer to the mainstream, supported by policy direction and practical economics. Companies that can deliver proven, simple, and reliable solutions in this space will be well positioned — and that’s where MB Crusher sees its role over the next phase of growth.
